Assuming it stays as disk0, we will create a new GPT first, and if we can see the partition correctly, we can derive the MBR from the GPT. Since you have two disks, if you reboot, then the disks can be renumbered. On disk1, since it has no FAT partitions or Windows, there is no need for the MBR. Your GPT is corrupt on disk0, also confirmed by Gdisk. Gpt show: /dev/disk1: Pri GPT at sector 1 Gpt show: /dev/disk1: Suspicious MBR at sector 0 Gpt show: unable to open device '/dev/disk0': Undefined error: 0Ĭostis-Issigoniss-Mac-Pro:~ Costis$ sudo fdisk /dev/disk0ĭisk: /dev/disk0 geometry: 60801/255/63 Gpt show: /dev/disk0: Suspicious MBR at sector 0 So these are the results of the commands :Ĭostis-Issigoniss-Mac-Pro:~ Costis$ sudo gpt -vv -r show /dev/disk0

Disk utility can see the hard drive but not the Windows partition. I have a problem with my Bootcamp partition(NTFS) on a second hard disk that doesn't show in osx.
